Bumble Black Love

In celebration of Black History Month, Bumble has partnered with Metallic Inc in a socially-led campaign, #MyLoveIsBlackLove in an effort to highlight the lack of Black representation of images of love and relationships online.

The events of 2020 have put a spotlight on the lack of not only Black representation but empowerment in day to day life and this extends to how people feel about love. Currently, when you search for images of ‘love’ or ‘couples’ there are very few that depict Black Love. Bumble launched this campaign in an effort to change the narrative by partnering with 30 Black voices included Jourdan Dunn, Clara Amfo, Nicola Adams, Leomie Anderson and George the Poet (among others), all of whom are sharing their stories and experiences of Black Love throughout the month of October. Ultimately, the aim of the campaign is to showcase all the joys of Black British love.
