HALPERN FOUNDER AND CEO JENNY HALPERN PRINCE AWARDED MBE FOR HER PIONEERING WORK IN THE CHARITY SECTOR

In June 2023 we celebrated our very own Halpern hero, our inspirational Founder and CEO Jenny Halpern Prince, for getting recognised in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours List for her pioneering work in the charity sector.
Acknowledging a gap in opportunities for underprivileged young people, Jenny conceived and founded social mobility charity Access Aspiration in 2012, creating a pathway for marginalised youth to break into all types of professions. Now a flagship programme of the Mayor’s Fund for London, the programme has delivered over 22,000 employer encounters and has supported over 15,000 young people in London.
In addition, Jenny has co-founded The Lady Garden Foundation in 2014 with the aim to increase awareness and funding for the five gynaecological cancers, driving thousands more women to seek medical help for lesser-known symptoms, and raising over £3 million to help research treatment and cures.
Jenny’s dedication to making the world a more equitable place is part of Halpern’s DNA. She has helped shape a culture which places purpose, equity and empathy at its core - we couldn’t be prouder of what she has achieved, and the difference she has made in the lives of so many.
